Simply stated, APE is jump-starting its new record label with a compilation release of several talented high school aged artists. The compilation, titled "APE Rec. Vol. 1", aims to be simultaneously eclectic and up to date, highlighting artistic ventures into some of the latest and most vibrant musical genres including: lo-fi rock, chillwave/glo-fi, dubstep, ambient electronics, and abstract hip-hop. Knowing each of the artists and their work personally, I can guarantee that this release is going to be something special.
